12th Sond'Ar-te Electric Ensemble Composition Competition

In order to encourage the creation and dissemination of new musical works, the Sond’Ar-te Electric Ensemble is organizing the 11th edition of the “Sond’Ar-te Electric Ensemble Composition Competition – new chamber music with electronics”.

Jury : Agata Zubel, Jêrome Combier, Pedro Neves, Miguel Azguime.

The competition is open to composers of any age and nationality.
Each contestant can submit only one work, composed in or after 2017.
The required duration of the work is between 7 and 15 minutes.

The submitted compositions must be written for  a combination of a minimum of  5 instruments and a maximum of 6 instruments from the following list  +  mandatory electronics (tape or live-electronics) :

 - flute (may also double piccolo, alto flute, bass flute);
 - clarinet in Bb (may also double A, Eb, Bb bass clarinet);
 - violin;
 - viola;
 - cello;
 - piano (may also double keyboards / synthesizers / midi piano, but not Disklavier).
