ACHROME ensemble international Call for scores 2026 - 10th edition
ACHROME ensemble has launched its call for scores 2026 - 10th edition!
Article 1:
ACHROME ensemble, always attentive to new authors of its time, in collaboration with "Preludio" Editions in Milan, announces an international Call for scores in TWO CATEGORIES:
- Professional Composers, CATEGORY A)
- Students of Composition, CATEGORY B)
Both categories are without any age and nationality limits. Each composer may participate with a maximum of three compositions; the duration of each work must be between 3 and 8 minutes.
Article 2:
For BOTH CATEGORIES, the scores MAY be written for:
- Ensemble of 2 to 5 instrumentalists
- Solo instrument
The compositions MUST HAVE BEEN WRITTEN IN THE LAST 5 YEARS FROM THE DATE OF PUBLICATION OF THIS CALL FOR SCORES.
The available instruments for the compositions are as follows:
- Flute [1 player]: flute in C, alto flute, bass flute in C, double bass flute in C, piccolo, sopranine flute in F [with kazoo effect] (*)
- Clarinet [1 player]: clarinet in Eb, clarinet in A, clarinet in Bb, bass clarinet (*)
- Violin
- Cello
- Piano (preparations and the use of e-bow are possible) [1 player]
Additionally, the following percussion set is available, played by the same ACHROME ensemble musicians: triangle, cymbals, rattle, tambourine, vibraslap, cabasa, woodblock (*)
(*) You can use more instruments in a single work.
No form of amplification or live electronics is allowed.
