Workshop for young composers 2024

Interested composers born after September 30, 1988, must sign the application for admission available online by September 30 2023.

How to apply for admission
In the application they will specify:
• whether they intend to participate in the workshop as students or observers;
• which laboratory they intend to apply to.

Composers may not be admitted to more than one workshop, but those interested in more than one may indicate an order of preference.

Only those who apply as student must:
• upload a score in digital format of between 1 and 12 players;
• provide a link to a recording of the submitted score (if available);
• attach a copy of an identity document.

To finalize the application it will be necessary to make the payment of the registration fee of € 30, valid even if you intend to apply for more than one laboratory and refundable only if the course cannot take place, by bank transfer to the bank account: IBAN IT26L0306909606100000101448 BIC/SWIFT BCITITMM, in the name of Divertimento Ensemble, showing as payment reason "First Name, Surname, WORKSHOP FOR COMPOSERS 2024".

How the selection takes place
A committee, formed by the tutors of the three workshops and the artistic director of Divertimento Ensemble, Sandro Gorli, selects by October 10, 2023 from the applications received the composers admitted to each workshop.

How to finalize the application
Composers admitted as students and observers need to formalize their application by paying their participation fee:
Students: € 350 to be paid by October 30, 2023
Observers: € 100 by the first meeting
