Call for 29th Young Composers Meeting

Young Composers Meeting is an intiative by Orkest De Ereprijs to give young professional composers under 30 a chance to compose for an ensemble and develop their talents, knowledge and professional network.

During a week in Apeldoorn, The Netherlands, 15 selected participants will come together to each compose a piece for the ensemble and singers. The week is filled with rehearsals, lectures and individual coaching by senior composers. At the end of the week, all pieces will be performed during the final concert in Gigant Apeldoorn. After this, a jury of international senior composers will choose three participants with extraordinary talent to receive commissions.

The next YCM will be in the week of February 26 until March 3, 2023.
